David Lewis and Lewis Investors purchased First Washington in 2003. He serves as its Chairman and CEO today.
Mr. Lewis began his career at Merrill Lynch in NYC in 1977 and in 1981 joined Foster and Marshall. After Shearson purchased Foster and Marshall in 1982, Lewis continued to head their Seattle based equity team, (both sales and trading) through 1991. He then joined Ragen Mackenzie as co-chief operating officer and manager of the equity capital markets business.
He has served on the National Board of the Securities Industry Association, and President of the Seattle Bond Club.
Mr. Lewis received a BA in History from Princeton University.
Fritz Frink purchased First Washington from its founder, John J. Harris (Jack) in 1979, and served as its Chairman & CEO until 2003. Since 2003 he has served as President. Mr. Frink started his investment career as a founding partner in Herron Northwest, Inc., and in 1972, Herron Northwest was merged with Piper Jaffray & Hopwood.
Mr. Frink has been President of the Seattle Financial Analysts Society, the Seattle Security Traders, and the Seattle Bond Club. He also has served as a member of the National Association of Securities Dealers District Committee.
He graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a BS in Industrial Management.
Neil Ballard joined First Washington 1998. His career started with Harold H. Huston & Company and in 1974 through 1998 with Campbell Waterman, Inc.
Mr. Ballard graduated from Stanford with a degree in economics and from Harvard with an MBA degree.
Mark Davis joined First Washington as Managing Director in 2010. Prior to joining First Washington he was a Senior Vice President with Citi Private Bank from 2001 to 2010.
Mr. Davis founded Sharebuilder Corporation (formerly called Netstock Direct), in 1996, which sold to ING Direct in 2007.
He is a member of Seattle Rotary, Board Member and Treasurer of the Village Theatre and Co-Founder/President of Seattle Philanthropic Advisor Network.
Mr. Davis graduated from the University of Washington with a BA in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting in 1977.
Greg Fenton joined First Washington as Senior Vice President of equity investments in 2007. Prior to joining First Washington Corporation, Greg served as VP of equity investments at Piper Jaffray, where he started his career and went on to holding SVP titles at Paine Webber, DA Davidson and Morgan Stanley.
Mr. Fenton attended the University of Washington.
Rick Finger joined First Washington as Vice President, Investments in 2008 where he serves as a private wealth manager specializing in qualified plan management and custom equity portfolio construction. He previously served as vice president at Morgan Stanley.
Mr. Finger graduated from Arizona State University in 2001 with a degree in Finance and received a certificate of International Business from The London School of Economics.
Mike Harley joined First Washington as Director of Equity Trading, in June 2003. He joined Dain Bosworth as a NASDAQ market maker in 1980 and in 1983, moved to Seattle and became a partner at Cable, Howse & Ragen. He has spent 23 years trading and managing principal equity trading desks.
He is a past president of the Seattle Security Traders Association.
Mr. Harley graduated from the University of Minnesota.
Floyd Jones joined First Washington as an owner in 1989. Mr. Jones began his career in 1954 at Dean Witter as an account executive where he became partner and manager.
He is a member of the Seattle Bond Club, and a founder and trustee of the Jones Charitable Trust.
Mr. Jones received his degree in Finance from the University of Washington.
Steve Jones joined First Washington in 1989 as First Vice President. He started his career with Drexel Burnham Lambert.
Mr. Jones graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in economics.
Tom Moloney joined First Washington in 1993. His career started with Drexel Burnham Lambert where he brings 25 years of municipal and corporate bond trading experience.
Mr. Moloney graduated with a degree in finance from Gonzaga University.
Jack Morbeck joined First Washington as the Director of First Washington Advisory in 2005. Prior to joining First Washington, he was a Principal with Summit Capital Management, 2003-2005; Sirach Capital Management as Principal, Portfolio Manager, 1996-2003.
Mr. Morbeck co-founded Olympic Capital Management in 1979, and helped grow the company to manage more than $3 billion when it sold to United Asset Management in 1986. Jack started his investment career with Smith Barney.
He graduated from the University of Washington, where he received a B.S. in Economics and earned his M.B.A.
Bob Sims joined First Washington in 2005. His career started with Blyth & Company. He continued his career with Merrill Lynch and Wedbush Morgan Securities.
Mr. Sims graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in Business Administration.
Andy Harris joined First Washington in 1969. He is the son of the company founder, John J. Harris.
He is a past president of the Seattle Bond Club.
Teri McIntyre joined First Washington in May 2003 as operating/administrative manager. She began her career at Foster & Marshall, and later joined their successor firm Shearson/American Express. In 1988, she joined Foster Paulsell & Baker and Lewis Investments.
Ms. McIntyre graduated from Ohio State University.
Angela Moses joined First Washington in 1998 as office manager. She started her career with Security Pacific Bank.
Debbie Palmer joined First Washington in 2004. She started her career with Ragen MacKenzie and is a registered assistant.
Florinda Peralta joined First Washington in 2008. She started her career with Piper Jaffray and is a registered assistant.
Jo Anna Winzenried joined First Washington in 2003. She started her career with Prudential Securities and is a registered assistant.
