From the Chairman

As we turn the page to 2010, this is a logical time to reassess. One important issue on peoples’ minds is: ‘Where is the best place to go to achieve superior results in the financial markets?’

I think it is appropriate that there is an increasing awareness of the differences between the large Wall Street firms and local alternatives. Seattle Business, in their recent cover article “Keeping the Wealth in Washington", declares “As Wall Street collapses, investors seek safer harbors closer to home”.

Many people, both clients and advisors, are looking differently at their choices today. We are pleased to be benefiting from this change.

My partners at First Washington, Fritz Frink and Floyd Jones, have established a wonderful legacy, both of building capital for clients and making significant contributions to our community, for over 40 years. Onto this solid foundation, five years ago we added a SEC Registered Investment Advisory led by Jack Morbeck.

What we do now is what we have always done; compete in the financial markets to get superior results for our clients.

Thanks for taking the time to learn more about us.
